Inspired by the Italian hard cheese Parmigiano Reggiano, our vegan Parmegano has a strong lively flavour with a slightly granular texture so it can be grated over dishes. Made with a base of cashew and hand-rolled in activated charcoal, this cheese brings you a sharp but complex savory taste.
Our Parmegano is matured for 8 months and is our longest aged cheese. We fermented this cheese with vegan probiotics and added an activated charcoal rub to each and every rind to bring out the sharp and deeper flavor.
The best way to enjoy Parmegano is shaving it over mixed salads with pear, stir it into risottos, grate over pasta dishes or simply enjoy with wholegrain crackers, grapes and red wine.
